One of the rarest cars in our collection, the YES! Roadster is a lightweight, high-performance car that is just as comfortable on the racetrack than it is on the road. Founded by Herbert Funke and Phillip Will in Germany in 1999, YES! (Young Engineer’s Sportscar) built cars that took Lotus’s lightweight philosophy to the extreme. Because Y.E.S. went bankrupt due to the economic crisis in 2008, only 3 second generation roadsters made their way to the United States.



This particular car, the only “Turbo Plus” variant in the nation, was featured at the Chicago Auto Show in 2008. Tipping the scales at 1900 pounds, the car is powered by a turbocharged 3.2L VR6, producing 415 horsepower while a 6 speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels.
