1997 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 SVC 750HP

Every collection has a car that quietly rises above the rest. For some, it’s the rarest build; for others, it’s the one with a story no other can match. This 1997 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Ram Air manages to be both. It's a replica of the Trans Am built by Special Vehicle Concepts of California—a shop best known for transforming exotic and high-end performance cars—and they only touched one Trans Am. One of one, and forever in a class of its own. Tragically, the car was destroyed when another car ran a red light and t-boned the Trans-Am.

The engine is a stroked and balanced LT1, topped with the intake from a LT4 and boosted by a Vortech supercharger. A 150-horsepower shot of nitrous pushes it even further, while CNC chambered race heads, a Crane Comp cam, and ceramic-coated headers enable the car to breathe much easier. At the wheels, it puts down an astonishing 750 horsepower.

The drivetrain is an enthusiasts dream: a 6-speed manual paired with a Spec 4 ceramic clutch makes sure every ounce of power is harnessed. Despite its performance pedigree, the car has just 42,000 original miles—preserved, but never hidden away.

What makes this Trans Am so remarkable is not only its speed, but its place in history. As a reminder of the sole example of SVC’s work on Pontiac’s iconic muscle car, it represents a moment that happened once and never again.

In any collection, it’s the car that stands apart—not because it demands attention, but because it's earned it.

In Loving Memory of Josh Thomas.
